Reason for the recall? It seems that there is a risk the glass from the sunroof could actually become detached while driving, which is a serious hazard, and could increase the risk of a crash or injury. This is because the sunroof may have been inadequately bonded to the sliding frame.

The models affected are those built from 25/04/2007 to 31/10/2008 and have the Vehicle ID SCBBR93W78C049115 to SCBBE53W09C057479.

The carmaker would have already contacted you buy now, with the recall due to have started yesterday, August 19, 2016. Where they will apply extra adhesive between the sunroof glass frame and its glass panel.

So glad Bentley have decided to issue a recall, as have had nothing but hassle with this issue.

This is something that you expect from a car that you only pay a small sum of money for, but when your car costs as much as this, it’s just shameful if you ask me.
