Bentley recalls Continental Flying Spur over sunroof problem
Bentley Motors has felt the need to recall 11 of its 2007-2009 Bentley Continental Flying Spur luxury vehicles in the UK, although 127 in all worldwide.
Reason for the recall? It seems that there is a risk the glass from the sunroof could actually become detached while driving, which is a serious hazard, and could increase the risk of a crash or injury. This is because the sunroof may have been inadequately bonded to the sliding frame.
The models affected are those built from 25/04/2007 to 31/10/2008 and have the Vehicle ID SCBBR93W78C049115 to SCBBE53W09C057479.
The carmaker would have already contacted you buy now, with the recall due to have started yesterday, August 19, 2016. Where they will apply extra adhesive between the sunroof glass frame and its glass panel.
