Land Rover Discovery Sport, and Evoque engine problems
Land Rover recently issued a recall for two of its models because of possible engine problems. We wanted to just offer this reminder to those that never realised there was a Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque recall.
The models affected were built from 09/07/2015 to 16/10/2015 and involves 7,193 in all.
The reason these vehicles are being recalled is due to the engine possibly cutting out because the engine harness may not have been routed accurately during assembly.
If this is the case, then there is a risk that it may chafe and cause the engine malfunction. It’s also possible that the engine could cut out, which is a serious safety risk.
Land Rover is to inspect the affected vehicles and repair by fitting a new bracket and secure harness.
