Low SEAT recalls help sales record into 2015
When looking to see if SEAT has had to issue a recall in the UK or the rest of Europe over the past few months, we were both surprised and happy that they had not issued any. It is certainly a good sign when there are no recalls, although that does not mean there have not been any problems. It just means they were resolved and also were few and far between.
One would presume the lack of SEAT cars being recalled is one of the reasons why there has been a sales increase of 18 per cent from 2013 to 2014, and we see no reason why this will not continue during 2015.
The thing is, this is no fluke either, as this is the sixth consecutive year that SEAT has seen a sales increase, although we have a feeling that the wonderful styling and build quality of the Ibiza and Leon models have played a part as well.
SEAT has been closing in on Honda and MINI in terms of sales growth in the UK, which is thanks to its six-model line-up. However, the company is set to unveil its SEAT Leon Cupra 280 add-on package at Geneva next month, which is called the Ultimate Sub8 Performance Pack.
If you have for some reason had an issue with your SEAT, then please share your problems with our readers.
