Mercedes A, B, Class, CLA & GLA recall by vehicle ID

Mercedes launched a recall on August 12, 2015 in the UK for four of its models, and those would be the A Class, B Class, CLA & GLA. What we find remarkable is the fact that not many people know about this recall, and so we thought we would offer to share some of the details.

The reason for the recall is because the front passenger airbag might not deploy due to the fact the incorrect fuses may have been fitted. If this is the case, this could also cause various other issues, such as windscreen wipers not working, the instrument cluster not working how it should, and also the passenger seat occupancy recognition system.

The build start and end dates are 08/09/2014 to 07/11/2014, and there are 1,208 units affected in the UK in all. The Vehicle ID for the A Class, B Class, CLA & GLA are WDD1760032J324878 to WDD1760522J325698, WDD1173032N141235 to WDD1173522N147674, WDC1569052J060024 to WDC1569522J061819, and WDD2462012J289156 to WDD2462472J289274.
