Vauxhall Corsa D recall for 1.4-litre petrol model update

Oh dear, it seems as though Vauxhall has another headache on its hands, as there have been reports that several Vauxhall Corsa D models have caught fire, and so has prompted calls for a recall. The issue involves owners of the 1.4-litre petrol version, with there being 2,767 vehicles recalled because for this issue already.

The fourth generation Corsa was built from 2006 to 2014 and you might think you have heard something very similar, and this is because the carmaker had the very same trouble last year, and since a feature on Points of View, Vauxhall has been inundated with calls to finally issue a recall. Much like what happened with the Zafira fires, although a separate issue.

Owners are saying that water is getting into the electronics, and so is the cause of these fires. Like we said above, Vauxhall already recalled some of these models last April, but there have been more cases since then, and so people feel Vauxhall needs to expend the recall.
