Vauxhall Omega warning light for automatic transmission
There seems to be an increasing number of people complaining about a warning light that appears on the dash of their Vauxhall Omega vehicles in the shape of a spanner, which indicates that something is wrong. The strange thing is, most of these owners have had their vehicles serviced on a regular basis, and so do not expect to see such warnings.
However, the biggest issue for them is that once this light begins to appear, it is followed by a check auto box warning. Once this appears there is no response to the throttle.
There are times when some owners are still able to drive their Omega, although only in limp mode and a much reduced speed. However, if you put your throttle flat to the floor you do get a burst of speed and things go back to normal for all of five minutes.
There is a solution to this, although it is not cheap, as it requires a trip to Vauxhall, as they are already aware that a couple of sensors have benefiting and so needs to be replaced. I you have any more Vauxhall problems, them please share them with the community on this page.
